The Roman Empire had a huge impact on the development of Europe. In this course we'll look at how this mighty power spread, and what its effects were both inside and outside its frontiers. The focus will be on archaeological sites, artefacts, and other types of evidence used by archaeologists to unravel the secrets of the past. Each week I'll post up a brief summary of the session we've had, and some extras for you to have a go at.
And you can use the Romanblog to share thoughts, chat to course members, and post information of your own.
